Saturday Afternoon.

25 December 2013
Hanakogane Park

Hello. Good Afternoon.

A photo taken at Hanakogane Park during Christmas. My favourite definitely has to be trees like this. That is also one of the reasons why I love winter. haha!

I just had some self made stir fried sliced beef, cabbage, mushroom fried rice for breakfast. Well, I just simply added everything together so it's easier to eat it while I read some manga on my laptop. I also had some fruit yogurt after my meal. It is said to be better for digestion. To think, I use to hate yogurt!

Honestly, if you ask me, my tastebud really changed a lot since young. So many food I use to dislike, I love them now! Maybe people should do a "What did puberty did to my taste buds" instead of the usual growing up from a nerd to a prince/princess. lol.

Slow and lazy days like this, my favourite.

Last evening, my friend dropped by for dinner. Well, actually, I invited her over because I wanted to cook some hotpot for dinner and it would be mighty lonely to have it alone. But of course, if she isn't able to make it, I'd still be glad to have it alone.

We had our kimchi soup hot pot (without kimchi) and gyoza for sides. We also had cheese cake for dessert. Indeed it was a feast but y'know, she had more than what I had expected so I was feeling a little heart pain with my money. But well, since I invited her over, I can't complain much since she did compliment that it was delicious. You win some, you lose some!

We hung out at the 24hr Mcdonalds near the station while having our supper and having real productive topics for about another hour before she left. Boy, did I learn a lot. I need to let that sink in a bit.

I also needed to let my McChicken set meal digest a little before I slept so I did up a blog post regarding my trip to the Cup Noodles Museum the other day. Can't believe some of my friends are still up spamming on twitter. lol. But wait, it's Saturday today so it totally makes sense. When it's Friday, it means you can stay up all night and sleep the whole Saturday afternoon away. (well, sorta)

Today, I'm just planning on more slacking in my futon (as usual) and catching up on my PSP RPG games. This feels like dejavu. I think I wrote something like this before. lol. Ahh... But I always repeat my routines because it's awesome. It's like, I'll always find time to slack somewhere doing the same old thing over and over again because it helps me relax. lol. Don't tell me no one does it. I bet everyone does it, they just don't announce it as often as I do. Right? Yes. lol.

I'll write again soon. I wonder what shall I have for dinner later... hmm....

Cup Noodles Museum at Yokohama

24 December 2013
Yokohama Cosmo World

Hello.

Last few days, I finally went to the Cup Noodles Museum at Yokohama with my friends!! I've been wanting to visit that place for quite awhile ever since I got to know of it. I'm a big fan of cup noodles mainly because it's good for lazy people like me. I like the idea of "Just add hot water!" and your meal will be ready in 3~5mins. lol!

The ticket to get into the museum is ¥500 per person.

Inside, you will be able to see the history of cup noodles and the cup noodles through the years! Also, there is cup noodles from different countries as well. It is an eye opener indeed. Also, to be able to see cup noodles from your home country is really cool!

Did you manage to see any familiar cup noodles? :D

24 December 2013
See any familiar Cup Noodles selling at the supermarkets near your place? :D
I think the main highlight of the cup noodles museum is being able to make your own cup noodles and decide what fillings it should have. But since we bought the last final time slot (the rest were already sold out), we had some free time.  We went to to watch the short mini theatre screening which explained the beginnings of cup noodles. It's really interesting in my opinion. lol.

24 December 2013

After watching the short film, we were then lead to the next room where there is a replica of the shed of the person who invented the cup noodles. Also, there is a silver statue of the person who invented cup noodles! I think the whole world is thankful for his invention. Though, the amount of MSG and all isn't exactly healthiest but hey, instant food is oh so convenient isn't it?

24 December 2013
Momofuku Ando

All hail Momofuku Ando-san!! Thank you for this invention! :D

After checking out the other exhibits, we went on to the cup noodles factory workshop place to get our own self made cup noodles! That's the main reason why we're here actually.

It costs ¥300 per cup.

I bought 1 cup to decorate. I'm not an artist myself so I was actually worried how I am going to decorate the cup without looking like a total doofus since all the other people seem to be good artists themselves. It's like everyone is really good at drawing!

Fillings you get to choose for your cup noodles

24 December 2013
My decorated cup noodles in the safety pack! :D

I'm not a good artist as you can see, but I did manage to copy the piyopiyo chick drawing. I added mustache to it because I thought it would look cute as an oji-chan. I also drew a piggy on it because... I like piglets. I think they are cute. Though there are not very good looking ones but still, I think they are cute!

We're allowed to choose the soup base and 4 different fillings. I think corn is a must for cup noodles! They taste so good! haha.

After we're done, we are able to pack out cup noodles into this bag ourselves. After you leave this place, everyone will know that you just went to the cup noodles museum! So touristy! haha.

One of the places you have to visit if you're in Yokohama besides the usual Chinatown at Yokohama! It's not everyday you get to make your own personal designed cup noodles ey?!

By the way, we're suppose to eat the cup noodles within a month after you made it. Honestly, I don't even bear to eat it. I mean, why would I want to destroy my own beautiful creation? lol!

Anyways, I'll write again soon.

Winter holidays + graduation!

Hello!

Today marks the last day of school and my winter holidays official starts now!!

20 December 2013
I got this from my homeroom teacher. There are messages written by my classmates sticked on the sides. Really beautiful card. I will treasure it. So much feels!!

Today is also the day when I'll officially graduate from my language school and I'll going to college next year January.

Graduating alone is lonely. Or maybe I'm not used to things like this. I'll definitely miss my classmates!! Without them for the past months, I don't know where I'll be! Neither would my Chinese be so much better than before! Lol.

I also received news of my classmates results. Not everyone did very well for the EJU so everyone is kinda bummed out about it. I can't say much because i didn't take the exams. I wouldn't fair so well either if I were to take it so I didn't comment on anything. But I wish I could be more of a help though. The least I want to help out is practicing with them for their TOEFL exams.

Nonetheless, everyone did a mini birthday celebration yesterday for one of our classmates's birthday which happen to fall on one of the days during this week. We just went out to have a meal at a Chinese restaurant at Ikebukuro. Well, nothing to be surprised. Hanging out with them would pretty much mean having Chinese cuisine! I'm not complaining though. Lol!

Once in a while, singing karaoke would be the activities after meals. I'm not too keen on karaokes recently because I haven't been really listening to any songs nor learning them. Instead, I'm just listening for feeling that's all. Lol. But well, it was fun to hang out with everyone again.

I'm currently in my new apartment. I'm still halfway with my unpacking though. I need to get some boxes to store my stuff. All these unpacking reminds me of the time I just got here during April. I can't imagine how time has flown! It's already the end of the year and my favourite holiday, Christmas, is just in a few days time!

I really dislike how cold it is just when it rains. I can't imagine it snowing. Though, I really want to see snow and make a snow angel or a snowman. I'll see how it goes.

I'm going to take a shower and head to bed. I'm really tired. I only slept 3 hours today. Tomorrow is going to be a really LONG day.

A trip to Maidreamin Maid Cafe at Akihabara

Hey guys.

It's been a while since I blogged. I've been busy dealing with stuff. I've finally contacted a moving company to help me move but there wasn't much stuff so it's pretty cheap! (thank goodness!). But I will still have to move some things myself because I don't have enough bags or boxes to move the stuff, nonetheless I'll get by. If you believe you can, you will!

I'll be moving out next week and I'll use the weekends to do the packing up and setting up the house. I hate dormitory checks. If only I moved out last month! But I can't because I've paid for this month's rent so whatever.

I know I leave out some events in my life and didn't write about it. But sometimes when I want to write about it, I realise I have nothing special to write about. I mean, if I'm just going to post photos about it, I'd rather just upload it to facebook or instagram or something. I mean, I want to write. lol. (or at least try to write! lol)

Anyways, yesterday I met up with Dea after school and we went off to Akihabara to have our lunch and her debut trip to a maid cafe! I think it's really important to have good company because it would change everything from, "it's not bad" to "awesome!!"

Before i start off, I just want to say that, to be able to know Dea was the most miraculous meetings ever. We just clicked off so well and we have quite a lot of things in common. Not everything but most; and the fact that we like piggies, I think that's like the best common interest ever. I mean, it's really difficult to find anyone who likes pigs or think they are cute. Maybe the huge ones are not very cute, but the fact that they are fat and chubby makes them cute! It's not always the face, y'know?

We went to this pretty famous maid cafe called, "Mai Dreamin". This time, I had so much fun! Even more fun than the first time I went. I think it's because there is cute bartender guy there as well who helped us to make the super adorable, specially requested, pig parfait!! We requested it if it can be made into a pig instead of the usual animals that they do and we managed to get it! Look how cute it is!

Animal Parfait set (pig design)
13 December 2013

There was also this cake set which we got. We ordered something different for each other so we could different stuff. They drew this really cute bear at the side. And, anything that has a bear or is a bear reminds me of my best friend Shizuka-chan.

Cake of the day set.
13 December 2013

After we had our meals, there was this "live" which we somehow unintentionally ordered. We asked for an akb song and there was this maid and this otaku who knew how to do the chants and stuff. So everything got really hyped up at that moment. lol. I guess that was the most enjoyable part of this whole trip to the maid cafe. lol.

Also, I guess it was because I was with Dea-chan during this trip. Our character has quite abit of similarities so we clicked really well.

I almost forgot, before we headed off to the maid cafe, we had our lunch and spent time at the arcade. She is really good at VS games! We played the new Persona 4 VS game and she totally owned me and she went off to challenge the PC onto the 5th stage! So cool right?! I have another cool and adorable friend!! haha.

I'll be meeting her with her friends for a year-end party later tonight. Our last meeting before she leaves for her university in Melbourne! I'm going to miss her!

I shall go take a shower and slowly get ready. I need to make a trip to the bank anyways. Been spending a little too much recently. *sigh*

I guess I'll just starve a little next month.

Chisaki.

Tsukemen for Lunch.

Tsukemen
9 November 2013

Hello. Good evening.

It's getting really cold recently. Even turning on the heater doesn't even make any difference. I washed my furry PJs yesterday so it's out drying today. I have to endure another day walking around my house feeling cold! Oh boy, how I miss summer.

Today, I went out to lunch with my classmates. We had tsukemen that was located nearby our school at Takadanobaba Station. This store was a recommendation by one of my classmates. It's the first time I had tsukemen and it was really delicious! This is just regular size and the portion given was a lot and after I had this yummilicious tsukemen, I was really stuffed! It's good to fill up your belly during winter because it keeps you warm. It's always a good feeling after eating something that delicious!!

I don't have much to write. I have 2 more major exams before the term ends next week. Most of my classmates are heading back during the winter holidays. I will be busy myself so I guess it's alright.

I just made a Dayre account to stalk some of my other friends. I'm not sure if I'll update it often since I have a whole space here to myself. But well, I still made a post there. We'll see how it goes. I have too many social networks when I don't even use them much. lol.

See you.

School Field Trip to Tokyo DisneySea!

30 November 2013

Hello. Haven't been taking selfies recently. lol. On most days, I'm just simply not photogenic. Especially on important photo taking days. Oh life.

How has everyone else been? :)

Anyways, I had a fun-filled Friday and Saturday! It has been so long. This is the real meaning of TGIF isn't it?

So, on Friday, I went to DisneySea because it was part of the school's field trip! I didn't take up most of the rides because I wanted to look around the places more than spending a whole hour queuing for the rides that is just going to last for a minute. I wanted to explore more of the place since the first time I came, everything was pretty much a rush.

After we're allowed to walk around freely, I went off on my own to explore. It does sound pretty lonely but I don't feel lonely at all. In fact, it was the best decision I've made during the trip! I don't have to compromise for anything, I just do things at my own pace and enjoy whatever I want.

I even managed to find an attraction that is not a ride but a small mission that we're suppose to complete and become an official "S.E.A" member. Which I thought was really cool so I decided to try it out.

I'll tell you abit on where it is if you happen to visit DisneySea and want to try this out. A little japanese would help a long way actually because you need to know how to read the map. It's really easy actually, though at first I was a little worried that all my past years in playing RPG games isn't going to help. But well, thankfully it did help, I think. lol.

6 December 2013
The Leonardo Challenge

This challenge attraction is located at the Mediterranean Harbor area, check out the map of DisneySea when you get there. It's called the "Leonardo Challenge".This is how the map that you're given looks like. You're suppose to complete the tasks and it will eventually lead you to the destination point. It's really simple but the fun part is that you explore all the places around just like an RPG game!

There was another ride which I thought was really cool is called, "Aquatopia" and it's located at Port Discovery.

It's already sundown by the time I stumble upon this attraction. It's winter now so sundown is around at 4 or 5pm. There were so many people as well! I wonder how long you have to wait just to get on this ride. I wish I can try on this ride next time though.

If you're visiting DisneySea, make sure you stay on for the performance at the Mediterranean Harbor. It's really pretty and the mascots were so cute. I took a few videos on my instagram though it wasn't the best. I'm not a videography sort of person. lol. Nonetheless, enjoy!

This was the first show that I watched. There is another one that I watched before heading back home. I sat down at one of the viewing areas while enjoying to the medieval music that was playing at the speakers nearby. The weather was perfect, I was nice and cozy in my coat I bought from uniqlo last month, the music was perfect as well. I wish I could stay here forever! I've always been in love with fantasy and the medieval times sort of costume and settings.

The second show had Duffy bear's mascot. I think it is the cutest bear mascot ever! I even bought another Duffy Bear plushie this time round since I left my first one back at home. The second show is more on Christmas instead of telling a story about Mickey's dream and how he kicks asses. lol! I love Christmas Carols as well!! When I leave the place and headed off to the Disney Resort Liner to get back to the main JR station called Maihama Station on the Keio Line. I managed to see some fireworks. It was really pretty!! Fireworks is one of the best inventions ever. It makes me happy just to be able to see it. :)

Everything about Disney is so happy! I love Disneyland/Sea. :)

This it the Disneyland Dedication Plaque that I searched on google.

To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.

Thank you Walts Disney! :)

Fantastic way to start off December! That is why I love the month of December and I love Christmas. It's always so merry!

Hello December

Enoshima Beach
30 November 2013

Hello.

It's finally December!! I can't believe it's almost the end of the year 2013! Just a few days ago I celebrated my birthday. Time really flies doesn't it?

I'm really looking forward to Christmas. Though, I don't have any special plans as of yet. But I'm hoping to make it really special since I'll be moving to a new place before Christmas! I'm still packing up my place so it's in quite a big of a mess currently. I can't tell you how excited I am to move, really.

I can't wait to go shopping in the nearby supermarket at my new place. I have a thing for big supermarkets. I prefer shopping there than other shops because it's food. Nothing can ever go wrong with food in my opinion.

I'm not sure whether it's because of the cold weather, but I'm munching on things more than usual. So, I believe I've gained some weight but I hope to lose them soon before my friends come over for a visit.

Last week, I volunteered for the ASEAN music festival which took place at NHK hall. Which was the most amazing experience yet. I really want to thank the singapore embassy for this. They needed helpers for this event so I volunteered. Mainly because it's not everyday you get to go into NHK hall. This is just probably the perfect reason for it.

I wrote on my Facebook status about my fantastic encounter with a quite a few artists. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because I know how strict they are. But well, I believe if you're fated to meet them and also to take a photo, even without much effort, you will end up getting them.   It's a chance one must take beforehand though. Like, if I didn't take up this volunteering job, I wouldn't even have a slightest chance!! Also, I'm very happy to be being able to meet new people and make new friends. They are all so friendly! (^^)

On the 30th of November, I went to Enoshima to celebrate my birthday. To be honest, it was alright. It wasn't the best, it wasn't bad at all. At least I got to sit at the beach and enjoy the sea breeze and the awesome view of the sun setting! Nothing beats sitting there doing nothing. If  only I had a beach chair and a book with me, that would probably be good. But it's winter so I doubt I can stay there that long and there are eagles flying above us. lol.

Not a videography sort of person so pardon the badly taken video. I even got help from this iphone app to do it. Nonetheless, I took a photo of the nice sunset by the beach sort of photo as seen on the top of this post! Best shot of the day, I believe! :D

Counting down the days til the end of school and winter holidays!

I am looking forward to college!! :)

Making goals, fulfilling them. That's all part of growing up isn't it?
I'm a happy happy kid. (^^)

Moving.

24 November 2013
Black hair x Red Lips

Hey guys.

I've found a new place and I'm finally moving out of my dormitory in the mid of next month.

Honestly, I was worried because I can never trust my own instincts. But, I really like how the place is furnished. Though it is like 15 minutes walk away from the station and about another 20 minutes away from Shinjuku and I still have to walk quite a long distance to school. Despite all that extra time spent on commuting, I shall take this as a good way to train myself for time management. I think sometimes everything has been so convenient for me that I took advantage of it.

It's a few stations down from where I'm currently staying so it shouldn't be that bad. lol. Actually, quite a few of my classmates is staying on the same train line. I'm just glad I'm just a few stops away from my best friend. Also, it looks a lot better than my current place at least. There is a mini loft as well. It's so mini, I don't even think it's considered as a loft.

Trying to make the time consumption look like a good thing. That's how life should be. Taking things from a positive outlook and everything will be fine.

I'm just not looking forward to the packing and moving and all that stuff. Just thinking about it makes me feel tired. But no matter, I will get it off my to-do-list in a jiffy.

Weather is getting colder every day!! The christmas decorations are up in loads of places in Tokyo right now. I haven't got time to go down to the lumination places to be absorbed in that kind of atmosphere yet! But I will!!

I'll do up a proper post on what I did on Sunday this weekend. I have a busy schedule these few days.

xx

Saturday 23 November 2013

23rd November

Hey guys! It's the weekends again! Hooray!

A few days back, a facebook friend of mine found another facebook account that is using my photos. It goes by the name "Hermes" but it's been taken down so everything is good.

Honestly, I have never expect anyone would want to use my photos. I mean, I have so much better looking friends around me. If that person wants to stalk me or try to be me, that person obviously isn't doing a very good job because if I were that person, I would try to be someone else who is more interesting and pretty!

My friends were even making a joke out of this. Thanks. Not. But well, if I don't get teased by my friends, I'm not me. I'm always getting teased. Not those "bullying" sort, just friendly teasing. The main reason is because they find my reaction funny. Not sure how to link that up but I'll take it as a compliment.

Looking from the spam from twitter and facebook and everywhere else on my social networks, it's ONE OK ROCK's concert in Singapore today!! I'm so envious of my friends!!! I wish I could be there to watch the concert with my friends though. Oh well.

They were all really sweet to post me videos and photos they've taken. Though technically it's not allowed. lol. But well, it's the thoughts that count. I'm so so so so touched. It's not all that bad being overseas if your friends still think of you. haha. Feelin' the love yo!

Nonetheless, "Persona 3: The Movie Spring of Birth" starts showing in cinemas today. Well, sadly tickets are mostly sold out. I took the pleasure of buying the tickets online for tomorrow. The seats I got isn't the best but at least I don't have to sit right in front of the screen. Also, it will be a solo movie date because none of my friends are interested in persona 3 movie. Don't matter because I know they are missing out on a lot just for not liking persona! lol.

I've started to listen to those instrumental/relaxing/nature sort of music recently. It was said to relax our mind and keep us focus on our work. I really need that once in a while besides all my other funky music that I listen to. It honestly does help a lot since I'm a person who is easily distracted.

I woke up really early today because I slept really early yesterday. At around 5pm or so..? I was really tired because the day before I was rushing a presentation slide to be submitted on the next day so I only slept at 5am in the morning. I had a total of about 3 hours of sleep before school start. It shouldn't even be 3 hours, but it's because I overslept. I woke up and got off my bed and slept on the floor for another hour instead. It was one of those times when I can't control what my body does. But yes, I was hella sleepy. I was walking to the train station with my eyes 3/4 close. Good thing I didn't die of car accident or falling off the train station on my way to school.

Tomorrow, I'll probably do a short review on the Persona 3 Movie after watching it. Stay tune for it if you're interested. But since I'm a fan, I'll probably have high expectations of it. But yes, excited.

I saw this the other day when I was waiting for my train home on the platform. How can I resist not taking such a beautiful artwork. lol. No really.

What shall I do for the rest of today....???

Hiking in Ikusabata, Tokyo Japan!

Hey guys!

Before I start writing anything, I want to say that I may have friends who are really good with fashion and dressing up and looking cute and pretty all the time, I'm neither of those. I prefer comfort, having fun and being me. So, before you look at the photos and say "why are you wearing PJs?"

Well, it's not. Though I must admit it looks like PJs and the pants are in fact sleepwear pants. However, it's really comfortable and looks nothing like one unless you fit the top to make it all look like one.

Honestly, it has been a long time since I had reconnected with the nature. It has also been a long time since I had so much fun!

This hiking trip in Ikusabata in Tokyo Japan, started out pretty awkward because I'm usually like, "Yo." and my conversation will just end there. I'm pretty known within my group of friends as the "conversation killer". If you know what I mean. I'm very bad as self introduction.

Anyways, we all headed off to Ikusabata (軍畑) station from Shinjuku. It's a pretty long ride even though we took a rapid train.

Once we reached the station, that's when everything got less awkward. Thank goodness. I was getting worried to be honest. The scenery is just so beautiful!!  The weather is perfect too! You can even have a picnic the whole day before sundown!!

I'm not even joking. Look at the few photos I've uploaded below. Pretty huh? It's really breath taking because everywhere you go, it's just autumn trees, beautiful hills and the river just beside. The air is really fresh!!

It's Autumn Baby!!

One thing I don't really understand is that almost everywhere, they sell Yuzu. Yuzu here, Yuzu there, Yuzu everywhere!!! I'm not a fan of Yuzu so I'm not a tad excited. I'm just totally confused. lol.

New friends made during this trip!! :)
17 November 2013

I met really nice and friendly people during this trip!! One of the nice guys I met during this trip is missing from these photos though. But honestly, I'm really glad I made it to this trip. I've been contemplating as to joining up with SSAJ for quite awhile even though I've been reading their newsletter every week.

I asked one my friend who's studying in Aussie if I should join in with the embassy activies because I've seen her join in with some of the activities over in aussie. I'm glad I took up her advice to do so! I guess it's good to know more people instead of trying to struggle alone. I do feel closer to home as well.

Also, because they are older than me (I had no idea. They all look so young) and more experience. They gave really good advice so far. They are really amusing people too!! I haven't had so much laugh in a long time. It really gave a good boost to my mood recently. My best friend in class keeps asking me if I'm alright. Well, I am! In fact, never better!! :)

Me, Me and me! :)

Here are some photos of me myself and I. Don't mind the photo on the top right hand side. Actually, I like to take this kind of fun shots once in a awhile. It's like limited edition photo because usually, I don't even post photos like this of me but well, just for keepsake.

I saw this 4 months old husky by this family. I went over and asked them if I can touch it. They gladly let me. The husky keeps wanting to "kiss" me which totally reminded me of my pet dog "BB" back at home. My dogs love to "kiss" me as well! It has been so long since I've touched a dog! I'm starting to miss BB. I keep asking my mom to send photos of him but hardly any though. I'm disappointed because this isn't what we agreed on. lol.

Anyways, I had a total blast for this trip. Japan is a really beautiful place. I ran around, climbed rocks, jumped around. I felt like a kid all over again. It reminded me of my Chiang Mai trip with my NPCC mates back in secondary school. I want to go on an adventure again!!

I think I'm slowly starting to build up my courage to try new things again. I guess this is the part where things will get better are you start to adapt to a new environment. It took me longer than expected but I'm ready to take on a new challenge!

Going to be busy next week onwards. Hoping everything will go on smoothly. I don't intend to forget my birthday. However, I'm looking forward to christmas anymore. I need a date! haha.

Cheers.

One word : Fulfilling

Hello!

It's finally the weekends! This week felt long for some reason. I think it's because I've been trying to keep myself busy so my day felt longer and much more tiring.

One word, Fulfilling.

I've finished my payment to my college and now I'm just waiting for their reply. I think waiting is more tiring than actually working on it!

Tomorrow I'll be going Hiking for the first time in Japan. Usually it's all the shopping and stuff but I want to reconnect with nature again. Also, meeting up with other singaporeans in Japan. It's nice to know more people in a foreign country instead of being just all alone. Something I always envy my classmates. I mean, they have their own country people everywhere. Just simply go to a chinese restaurant and you'll see them.

Honestly, I don't really recall what I actually did this whole week but I feel good today. Even though, I am still kinda tired. Yesterday was a blast! I can't believe I actually went to Kis-my-ft2's concert. I use to follow them when they just formed as a Jr and now they have already debuted and having their own concerts. Amazing. So proud. They are an idol group belong to Johnny's Entertainment's which I use to be a huge fan but now I'm just a fan once in awhile.

My best friend manage to get the tickets at a really good price enough the seats aren't as good but well, for the price and the people we get to see during the concert, it's totally worth it.

Before the concert, we had a few hours to kill so we went to get our lunch first. We went to this indian restaurant near the station. There is this strange feeling I get when I see bollywood on TV that's playing in the restaurant. lol. It's like.. "How long have I not seen this!"

Lunch at an Indian Restaurant

The food wasn't too bad. But I really wish they had made the curry spicy like how they should be. But well, in japan, anything will end up not spicy even if they are suppose to. It's a torture for us people who like spicy food but I sort of got used to it. I can even have macdonald french fries without chilli sauce! But well, in Japan, chilli sauce is almost like non-existence. Even if they do have it, it's sweet.

Lunch set. Look at that huge nan!! :D
My friend couldn't finish the bread but I guess it's also because she isn't used to eating that. I mean, I LOVE eating prata so this is like the closest I can get to prata so I finished every bit of it. I was so contented with my lunch.

After lunch, we went outside Tokyo Dome to join in the queue to get our concert goods. I didn't buy much because I don't be needing them. But I got a penlight because it's a must for idol concerts. Also, to prove I've been to the concert.  The scene during the concert with all the lightsticks lighted up, it's really beautiful. I think it's also because it's close to christmas, the light sticks have 3 colors, white, red and green. Perfect.

As usual, photography is not allowed in concerts in Japan so you just have to get the DVD or go to the concert yourself. But I did snap a "before the concert" photo. We were in there really early so there isn't much people in the concert hall yet.

Kis-My-Ft2 『Snow Domeの約束』 in Tokyo Dome
15 Nov 2013

The stage looks really beautiful. If only I can stand there to perform or dance again. It would be like a dream come true. Just looking at them perform, makes me so envious. But I guess sometimes we're just not fated to do things like this. I don't know. All I know now is to do whatever I can within my limits right now and live my life to the fullest.

I think the climax for me during the concert is knowing one of my favourite Johnny Jr., Jesse was also watching the concert at the sitting at side with the other juniors!

He looks so hot. His legs, uh huh.... Perfect. Well, Taipi, his solo.. so sexy. He is so good looking. They are not super good looking but Fujigaya and Jesse is my type of guy. I'm not sure but... comparing to all my other crushes, I seem to have a thing for guys who don't have super nice and alluring eyes but they have this certain similar aura. For example, they usually don't smile, they would give out this cool aura, but when they smile or laugh or hangs out with their friends, they are like super friendly and nice people.

Alright, something that usually happens in Shoujo Mangas. But well, we all can have our dreams and fantasies. I'm not saying my future possible boyfriend has to have all that but it would definitely be a bonus because those are the things that usually catches my attention! But personalities and characters plays a bigger role out of all that though.

Too much fantasy perhaps? But we can all wish, can't we?

Anyways, Taiga, Yugo and a few others whose name I do not know is also there. Matsumura Hokuto isn't there though. It's nice to see Tanaka Juri perform and him looking well after so long. I can't believe all the Johnny Jrs are all grown up right now. I feel awfully old. We're suppose to be in the same generation, Heisei, but I feel like I'm from the Showa generation instead. I need to be around older people to make me feel young again!!

The encore was really epic because the new unit from Kis-My-Ft2, "舞祭組" (Busaiku), performed their song. My friend said that the song brain-washed everyone. It's not released yet but everyone knew what to do during song. But it's not that hard to catch up though. I had my fair share of the shouting along with the song. lol. To my surprise, I ACTUALLY enjoyed the song.

Anyways, tomorrow's gonna be some hiking session and meeting new people. I'm always awkward when meeting new people. So, as usual, I'm going to tell myself to not expect so much and try to enjoy myself. I think it's something people should always do. Expect lesser so you'll have lesser disappointment.

I've started watching "Kuroko no Basket". I've ran out of animes to watch so I'm catching up one those I haven't watch. lol.

See you.

Oh! Suddenly there was an earthquake. Pretty long one too.
One thing I'm usually worried is that if in the case whereby the earthquake is so huge that you have to evacuate the building or something and you can't do it straight away because you're in the shower or something. Won't that be super awkward. I mean, what are you gonna do? I mean, seriously.

Cheers.

Chilly Autumn

Autumn Trees!
08 - 11 - 2013
Hello!

It has been awhile since I wrote anything. Actually, I have quite a lot of things I want to write but not quite sure how to put it in words. Simply, this month is going to be busy and I suppose next month is going to be pretty busy as well!

Let's start off... I've officially been accepted in a college in Japan!!

I still have school fees to pay and stuff. I still have to move out of my current dormitory and find a new cozy apartment. I'm also trying to keep myself busy for this month. I've decided to join in with some activities that the student embassy of Singapore in Japan have. I've signed up for hiking since my mother forbids me to go rafting. Now thinking about it, it may not be a good idea to keep myself busy since I will be busy!! I just hope all the errands will end as soon as possible. I really don't like to get out of the house in this freezing weather.

It is suppose to be autumn but I'm not sure why it's colder than it should be. I'm really starting to miss summer. My nose hurts really badly today. I think it is because of the cold weather. Even wearing mask doesn't help at all. Usually it helps, maybe it's because the mask I got is from 100 yen shop.

I'm trying to recall what I did last week. I think the weather got my brain freezed up a little. Last weekend, I went over to my friend's house for a sleepover since her roommate isn't in. Her house is really cozy. We even had an impromptu photoshoot because the scenery around is just brilliant. Autumn trees! Nothing can go from with that!

Chillin' at Mcdonalds. :)

Recently, I've been hanging out in cafes and bookstores a lot more frequently. I basically spend my whole day there after school. I stumbled upon this book called "Never Let Me Go". I was having second thoughts about this book even though it was made into a film. I wasn't a fan of sci-fi and the summary at the back didn't convince me. So, I didn't get the book.

I ended up getting this book called, "Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore". I'm currently halfway through the book and it's just starting to get interesting. It has tons of reference to google though. Not sure if they are true.

So anyways, I ended up watching "Never Let Me Go" film instead of reading the book. I must say I am impressed and speechless. I like films that make me think and this in fact did. It did made me disagree to cloning. I mean, if it's going to end up like the film, I definitely disagree. I can't help but tear at the end. I mean, I would definitely react the same way if I know this is going to be my fate and there is nothing I can do about it.

I know AFA13 just ended and it seems really awesome. My timeline in facebook, twitter and instagram is filled with them. I wish I could joined in with the fun though!!

I know it's late but I'm going to go head for a shower, chill for a bit more and head to school afterwards. I can't afford to sleep now because I still have a bit of things to do. Procrastination at its best and it caused me my sleep. I still have a short meeting after school tomorrow then I'll head home and to bed.

Cheers.

Quick trip to Kyoto!

Hello.

Last month, I went to Kyoto. It's just for a short trip to visit one of the temples and also to chill with my best friend. Crystal, came by for a short getaway trip to Tokyo. I had exams so I can't hang out with her during the weekends as planned though.

On our way to Kyoto! :D

We took the bullet train (Shinkansen) from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station. It has been a long time since I sat in a bullet train. I still find it really cool to travel around Japan via Shinkansen though. You're still on land but just in a few hours, you'll be in another prefecture!

Caught a glimpse of the beautiful sky on our way to Kyoto. If you look closely, you can see an "X" in the sky. Reminds me of the movie, Koizora!!  The skies in Japan is always so beautiful!!

I managed to see Kyoto Tower! Only from the outside though. I also saw this funny sign at the train station. It's suppose to be "Smoking" instead of "Smorking". lol.

We booked a hotel called, Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto. It is just right in front of the station and it's easy to stop, just about 5 minutes away! The room is really comfortable and cozy as well! Though, I wish the pillows were bigger though. lol.

We decided to rest for abit before taking a walk around the area. We caught the FIFA world cup on TV. It was Poland vs England. Crystal and I were a supporter of England so it made it even more enjoyable to watch! We both agreed that FIFA world cup is much more enjoyable to watch because it's a combination of all the good players like Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, all in one!

After watching the game (England won!), we left the hotel and walked around the area. We stumbled upon this small and old style Yakitori shop. I really like how the shop front is decorated with lanterns, really pretty! Even the menu outside is hand written! Funny how they wrote it as "yakitori sukiyanen"  which basically means "I love Yakitori" with the kansai dialect. It's really delicious! It's not the usual yakitori I've eaten in Tokyo. It has a little different taste to it!

The next day we set off to the Kiyomizu Dera which is a Independent Buddhist Temple.
Link here: Kiyomizu Temple

I didn't take much photos of the temple because we were busy checking the place out and getting our fortunes. We also got our love fortune as well. Mine doesn't seem to be good this time either. Oh well! lol.

There is a whole street of shops and restaurants in front of the temple. We were really hungry so we went to search for a shop that sells yummy ramen. It was raining the whole day so we wanted something hot to fill the belly!

We managed to find this ramen shop located on the second floor and the first floor were selling different sweets and desserts. I forgot the name of this ramen but it's really yummy! Crystal also ordered this really cute cappuccino with a girl's face!!

After having our meals, we decided to head back to our hotel to get our stuff and head back to Tokyo. Yeah, it was a really short trip but it was a good experience. I want to go Hokkaido some day though. I want to try all the food there and play with snow! lol.

Cheers.

Books, Cafe and Shopping

1/11/2013

Hello. It's finally November. November is a special month for me and so will December be. Firstly, I'm born on the month of November and I love christmas very much for the simplest reasons. It's the most merry festive season! Don't you think so too?

After school, I went to have lunch with my classmates but it turned out to be pretty awkward. This is how my November started. It seems almost like the past 6 months were a complete lie. Nonetheless, I tried. I wonder what went wrong in between when I was busy finding the next route in my life for the past 1 month or so?

Anyways, after lunch, off I went to Starbucks at Shinjuku and picked my spot to sit down and enjoyed some maccha frappachino and my all time favourite New York Cheese Cake.

As usual, I will sit at starbucks for a few hours reading, writing, thinking, observing my surrounding. Usually until the sun sets, then I finally leave my seat and head off to Kinokuniya nearby to look at more books. Hopefully to find a good book to read. This time, I did.

"How Starbucks Saved My Life" was the book I found. For a starbucks lover like myself, this book was hard to miss! According to the notice on the shelf, this book will be made into a film. I'm already 1/4 into the book and I'm hooked. I'm thinking of slowly down on my reading pace so I can have a longer time to read this book.

『How Starbucks Saved My Life』と言う本を探しました。

I also bought a cute book cover to protect my paper back books when I bring them out. It's a cat design. Really cute! But I still like dogs better. lol.

After getting the book, I thought maybe it's also time I head home. As I was walking back to the station, I saw Forever21 and I was like... I want to do some shopping. So, off I went to into the shop and started trying on clothes. I ended getting about 4 pieces.

My favourite has to be the red checkers pants which is suppose to be a sleep wear. It looks too nice to be a sleep wear though, so I will wear it out as a normal loose pants instead. It matches pretty well with the new royal blue inner heel sneakers.

I still have posts on my short trip to Kyoto with one of my best friends to write. I think I'll start writing after this.

Happy Halloween!!

Hello! As the title says, Happy Halloween!!!

I didn't do anything special for Halloween this year but I thought I should join the mood. There are quite a few people on the streets wearing different costumes in the afternoon today. I guess it's something to expect during Halloween I guess?

Things I ordered from Asmart came in today! Asmart is an online shop that sells stuff of AMUSE talents. Now, they cater to international fans as well! Though, it's not really a concern for me anymore. So, those who want stuff from AMUSE talents, (e.g ONE OK ROCK), try ordering from Asmart!

As you can see, I'm trying something different for this blog post by writing in both Japanese and English. I think it's also because I want to show you guys the level of my Japanese. Though, there can still be errors in grammar and such. Of course, translation will not be perfect so, please pardon me. I'm still studying the language.

I also need to study for my Japanese Proficiency Test N2 so this could be the perfect timing to start. If I do go back Singapore, I want to try doing translation jobs. It seems both interesting and challenging!

Oh right! Must be wondering what came in the mail today right? Well, I finally got ONE OK ROCK's "Jinsei x Kimi=" DVD. I also ordered Sakurada Dori's 20th Anniversary limited edition blog 1 & 2. It's a compilation of his blog from May 2007 ~ October 2009. I like to read his blog because it's cute and interesting. I wish I can write like him though. I sometimes wonder if my blog posts are interesting..? I mean, he has just one photo per update and writes quite a bit but it seems good enough. I don't see a reason a point in "writing" a blog when it's all full of pictures. It doesn't seem to make sense. Maybe it's just me.

It's tiring to do translation like this... I should stop writing for today and head off for a quick shower. I have school tomorrow. I will write again. Perhaps I should try to write everyday like Dori. lol.
Bye~ See you.

OOTD #9 and a quick update!

Hello. It's the weekends.

The weather is indeed getting more chilly. Sometimes I don't know how much I should wear when it's 18 Degrees Celsius. Wearing too much may make me look silly, wearing too little would be taking too much of a risk.

But it's definitely okay to be wearing a beanie out! I bought this beanie last month when the weather was still alright. I finally got to wear it out recently without feeling weird. The thing that caught my eye was the word "LONDON" written on the beanie. Anyone who knows me would know that besides Japan, I really love the UK. More specifically, london. Though I haven't been there before to truly say I love the country. But it's the same like how so many people say they love Japan though they haven't really been there but just love it because of the anime, culture and fashion.

Anyways, here is one of my outfit of the day post that I haven't done is a long time because I don't have a full length mirror at home. I only have one small mirror for doing makeup. lol.

Head: Black "London" Beanie (Got it from Harajuku)
Top: Big Chip pastel green top (Japan @ Shibuya outlet, W❤C)
Bottom: One piece plain black skirt
Shoes: Inner heel ankle cut shoes (from H&M)

I love wearing sweaters! I haven't got a winter coat yet so I'm a wee bit worried but I'll get it some day with my classmate because she said she doesn't have one yet but I suppose she didn't bring it over from her home country.

Tomorrow I got a filming session at school. It's suppose to be confidential so I'm not going to write the details here but it's just a simple video to help out the school. One thing good about this is that I can get ¥5000 out from it! So I was thinking, why not? No harm either. I just need to wake up early on a sunday and head to school for it.

There was a short briefing yesterday and I met this guy from England. His japanese sounds so much better than me, I feel ashamed. But at least I know his Kanji isn't is strong point, similarly to me, so I guess I feel better about myself because I'm not the only one who is bad in Kanji whereas my whole class is good at it.

I'll be taking N2 mock test which will let me get ¥2000 after I finish it in November. It's the same day as those taking EJU. I've decided not to take it anymore so I'm free from the burden.

Talk about the positive turnout of events huh?

I've been on a search for new anime to watch. I've started the more recent one called, "Log Horizon" whereby you get stuck in an MMORPG game. I want to try something like that though. Since in Log Horizon, you won't die in reality when you die in the game. lol. SAO is too scary because you die in RL if you die in the game. But I suppose it's things like this that sounds more realistic makes the whole plot even better.

I should get back to writing my essay because my homeroom teacher wants it by monday.

Cheers.

Autumn School Semester Beings

11th of October 2013
Hey guys. New semester for school started and I’m not used to waking up early AT ALL. This photo is the most recent selfie since it was taken yesterday.

Yesterday, I woke up just 15 minutes before school start so I don’t have time to do all the fanciful makeup at all! Well, usually I don’t put any fanciful makeup either so.. I’m not exactly making sense. Since it’s the new school semester, I’m already waking up late, this is a bad sign. Thank goodness the important test that we had yesterday was during the 3rd and 4th period. In fact, I only have 4 period of class everyday. So sometimes when you’re late, you rather not come at all but because this test is pretty important so I quickly prepared and left for school. I also do not want my attendance to be bad nor do I intend to make waking up late a habit.

Yesterday, my mom sent me a message in the evening about this camera application for smart phones. She was telling me that this application can make you look younger in photos. The moment I read that, I was like… “WHAT…? This is definitely not my mom." But then again, my mom can really do random stuff at weird times when you least expect it. I think it’s in my blood because I do that too! lol.

Never expect my mom to be into such applications. I wonder who told my mom about this application. But well, Mom, I’m way ahead of you. I have tons of such applications on my iPhone5. lol. Oh wait, it should be a secret. Lol.

Recently, though it’s already autumn, some days still feel like summer. For example yesterday and today. It’s like 28 Degrees Celsius out on the streets. I’m pretty much used to that because that was how it was like back Home. But I do feel awkward wearing summer-ish clothes during autumn.

Yesterday after school, I went to have lunch with my best friend for sushi because I saw the shop advertising on fatty tuna (大トロ). I’m a HUGE fan of ootoro. Well, you can say it’s partially because of the anime “Ouran Highschool Host Club”. It is also because it’s really yummy!! People, you should really try it instead of the usual Salmon sushi.

Fatty Tuna Sushi
Look how yummy it is. I’m already feeling hungry as I’m looking at the photo. I can’t always eat this because this is the more expensive and fatty tuna is only a small part of the Tuna fish. Comparing Salmon and Tuna meat (マグロ Maguro), I would choose Salmon. But if it’s fatty tuna meat to salmon, I’d pick fatty tuna meat. Oh so yummylicious! :)

After lunch, we decided to head off to Ueno. It was pretty sudden but we hopped on a bus to get there. It’s the first time I ever took a bus in Japan so was excited and in a good mood. It’s no difference taking a bus back at home but because you’re in a different country, the scenery is different and so is the people in it. So, it totally makes a different atmosphere. Even back at home, I’m more of a person who takes the bus rather than the train. Never really liked taking the train but I don’t exactly have a choice.

We sat at the fountain area near the Ueno Zoo to chill for bit. Basically just to kill time because it’s a weekend the next day. The weather was fine as well thanks to the wind that is constantly blowing. Without it, it would probably be like sauna.  But then it’s Autumn so it won’t be as hot as Summer.
11th of October 2013
Pretty nice few isn’t it? There were quite a lot of people sitting around the area chilling as well. Some people at the side juggling and stuff. Maybe there would be more things around during the weekends or something..? lol

I don’t intend to do anything special this weekend. Instead, I’m going to try to clean up my house a bit and try to fix my body-clock so I don’t end up oversleeping again. Can you believe it’s actually 3 continuous holidays again? I swear, Japan has too many public holiday. I’m not complaining, just astonished. lol.

I’ve been listening to the radio a lot more often recently. I guess I got really sick of my playlist. I need new songs! lol. I found out that this radio station, has this DJ who sounds really bored all the time. Not sure why he was hired but though he sounds bored, I still listen to him talk. That must be one of his charms. lol.

Everyone is talking about Pokemon X/Y. I’m jealous, I want to play it too! Pokemon is one of my childhood animes that I love and still do, though I still prefer the first version where Ash starts off from Pallet Town trying to be a Pokemon Master. FYI, one of my childhood dreams were to be a Pokemon Trainer. Lol. Still do. lol.

I’m feeling sleepy after lunch. I had Mackerel.

It’s not really because of the anime, “Free! Iwatobi Swimming Club”. Though, it would be the best combination if I was eating that while watching the anime though. Sadly, the season had to end. I’m not sure if it’s going to have a second season though.

I’ll find something to do to keep me awake so I can sleep at a right timing at night.

Cheers.

It's Monday Again

Hello. I think I got people worried from my tweets last night. I do apologise for that but I am feeling a lot better. I promise you it isn't any random mood swing. Instead, it was just reality slapping into my face. Though by now, I should be used to it. But bad things or horrible things isn't something that people can get use to easily. At least not me.

I'm finally getting a much more clearly picture as to where I'm heading. Though there are still tons of uncertainties, I think I can get over them in times to come because I have awesome friends and a supportive mother. So awesome, I feel so blessed despite so many regrettable decisions I've made when I was young. Y'know, the usual badass student but not really bad? Not really the extremely rebellious type but more of the stubborn one.

I swear, it took me quite a long while to get what I want. Because I fear the results, I didn't dare to ask my mom or tell her anything but.. after my friend's persuasion, I finally did. I'm glad i did because there is nothing more assuring than your mother giving you the green light. But now it's the slightly challenging part because whatever happens now depends on me. To tell you the truth, I'm not very confident in it but I think I'll get through it. Y'know me, I like to take risk.

Tokyo Station Hotel

I never wrote about my previous trip alone walking around Tokyo. Not that it's really interesting, but I did manage to see really pretty sight such as the Tokyo Station Hotel. Some victorian looking building. Really beautiful. I checked out the price on the website and boy it's really expensive, at least $400+ dollars to stay there for a night. When will I ever get to stay in such pretty hotels...?

I really do believe that there is light in every darkness. Does anyone believe in that? Besides the fact that I sort of quote it from Kingdom Hearts.

Anyways, I don't have much to write nor wish to write here at the moment until I receive any official statement or acceptance from any school that I'm intending to apply. I'll be busy with applications, so til then, Twitter it is!

Cheers. Stay happy and healthy people!

Strange but Pretty Awesome Dream!

5/10/2013
Chilly Autumn

Hello. I'm listening to Brookland Radio, United Kingdom and XFM London as I'm writing this. My friend recommended XFM London to me. They have pretty good tunes so I recommend this two radio stations. I was listening to some local radio station that turned bad with tons of clubbing music which isn't really my sort of music before switching to this. I wish it was early in the morning when I found this website so I can enjoy tea with bread or something. Nonetheless, I can still do this tomorrow morning!

It has been raining the whole day, no wonder I feel so cold at home even when I didn't switch on the aircon or anything. Autumn usually isn't this cold unless it's raining though. I woke up in the afternoon today because I was busy playing Torchlight 2 with this friend through my secondary school friend who came to Tokyo for a holiday last month. I needed his help because I was playing veteran difficulty and was struggling at one of the quests! I got it done so I'm now on to Act 3 in the game! I'm a happy kid.

I almost didn't want to wake up because of this amazing dream I had! It was thanks to the recent Harry Potter Movie Marathon I had last few days. This has to be the best yet.

My favourite character in Harry Potter has to be Draco Malfoy. Despite him, sometimes being a total cowardly prick he can be, he is pretty nice deep down inside. I can tell.

I'll skip the details as to what sort of relationship we have in this little dream fanfiction, plot twist, additional character aka me, in this dream I had today. It's all fake and part of my fangirl-ish imagination. But it can really happen if I really was accepted to Hogwarts and if it really was real, y'know.

So, I bet almost everyone knows in the last part was Harry finding the Horcrux and going around London to find it. Well, knowing how reluctant Draco and their family is, to work for the Dark Lord. I'm basically protecting him and helping him along with the Order, though they are not really willing to but seeing on my account, they accepted.

We're hiding at this place that sort of looked like Leaky Cauldron but not exactly. I have no idea where we were but it's a Tavern for sure. Before we're both left alone, the order was planning something before dispatching off to fend off the death eaters. The place was dark and we're not suppose to make any noise but some odd reason, there was this 2 idiots place "Dota 2" with a computer in the Tavern. Mind you, this is a dream so anything can happen. They were making quite a ruckus so we got found and we had to fight back (obviously). Some people from the Order came back to help but somehow a Troll managed to get here and it was aiming for both me and Draco. But Draco was busy fighting off others so it's just me and the Troll with Draco behind me. We're back facing each other.

Then, this thing just had to happen, the climax of the dream. I don't remember any single spell! So, I was like, I want to cast this spell but have no recollection of the name of the spell, so obviously I can't cast anything! I was asking around, "Give me spell name, I don't remember any!" But they were too busy to reply me because they were busy casting their own spells. Strangely enough, I couldn't hear much of them calling out any spells in the dream except for the sound effects of the fighting with chairs breaking and all that jazz. I was basically left alone with not much time because the troll was going to attack.

The only thing I can think of is charmander's skill, "Ember". And I called out "Ember!" and surprisingly it worked, causing the troll to catch fire, then I waved my wand again and I managed to drag him into the computer into the game of Dota 2.

Then I worked up. Feeling totally amazed and happy! I haven't had such awesome amazing fantasy/adventure filled dreams in a long while. Usually when I have such dreams, they are pretty awesome and I'm really awesome in the dreams as well. That was the first thing I tweeted when I woke up in the morning, giving a brief description to what I dreamt just to keep the information in tact in my brain.

I even decided to cook pasta for lunch. It was also because I bought the ingredients yesterday when I was out grocery shopping. Though it was my first time making it, it turned out pretty well! I had quite a few compliments from the photo I took.

Yummy homemade Pasta
It kinda looked like some photo grabbed from google but trust me, I took the photo. I mean, who puts chopped up crabstick, chopped up ham and Enoki mushroom in a Pasta. Well, perhaps only me. But that was the ingredients I had at the moment so I can't really argue. But no doubt it was yummy! Thanks to the instant pasta sauce of course. Even food stuff is so convenient in Tokyo. It's like they made stuff that is suitable for people who are staying alone. But really, I think there are many people in Tokyo who are staying alone or with a roommate.

Also, because I don't have a naggy dad who hates anyone who enters the kitchen, I am free to experiment with things I want to try. One of the perks of staying and living alone. :)

Tomorrow, I'm going to an Information Session at this American University. Though, my mother is still pretty reluctant of me staying here for university because of the extra incurred costs, I'm trying my best to turn things around. I'm pretty looking forward to it. I mean, I've been to college but never to university so I really wonder how it works and how a lecture actually works.

Cheers.

Dance and Drama

Hello.

I'm now chillin' at Starbucks having my favourite macha frappachino and a sugar donut. Well, the donut isn't my favourite but I need to eat something since I haven't had anything the whole day. Surprisingly, I can last so long without feeling hungry nor weak. When I'm doing something I really like and enjoy, food is almost not needed. I know that's a bad habit but I haven't had this feeling for so long so let me embrace it for once!

I just went for a enrollee experience program at this arts college for drama and dance.

Dance was alright, I really did enjoy myself though it was difficult! We tried out this 『テーマパークジャズ』(theme park jazz?) which I assume is something like Broadway musical sort of dance? Mind you, I never really research or learnt these terms properly so forgive me if made a mistake. We had to learn some basic steps in ballet and boy, it was fun! For once, I feel like I can actually dance more elegantly.

The dance instructor who taught us was a guy name "TATSUYA". If I'm not mistaken, I think he can speak English really well. I heard him count and speak a few sentences in English and it's those really good English sort and he looks like he went overseas before. Being in the class made me think of home. It's like as if I wasn't in another country, it felt so right, like as if I belong here.

Oh! Today was the first time I sat on a taxi in Japan. Not on my own accord of course. It was because the dance class was held a bit further away from the main campus. So basically, it was free of charge for me and another student. This student who looks like he was still in middle school but apparently already 18 years old (gosh, I met my match), did break dance before, which I personally think is really wicked!

Before I went for the dance experience class, I went for drama experience class.

Honestly, comparing dance and drama, I would pick drama. Though I don't feel as "home" as dance because we had to speak in Japanese which makes it different. Like, I know that I'm still in Japan.

Anyways, I really enjoyed drama class. Surprisingly, I was able to answer the questions asked by the teacher teaching us today. Let's put it this way, I aced it!! But then again, to me, it's pretty common sense if you just think about it.
We were split into 3 different pairs. I think my partner and I did pretty well because the teacher praised our group in being the most natural one. (Proud) Besides just acting, we can learn abit of dance, voice training and all other sort, which I believe is something that attracts me a lot. Almost everything I like into one, it's perfect! I feel like I can actually do this forever. Rather than feeling "home" it feels like I'm suppose to be doing this. Everything came more naturally to me then in dance though. Surprisingly, I was able to get into character faster and easily this time. Almost naturally. Though there was this one time, I got out of focus and realised my surroundings and got a wee bit embarrassed and ended up giggling. Honestly, it was really fun. I loved it. Definitely drama over dance this time.

Despite it all being fun, I'm just worried what my future would be like. Y'know, people always say to go chase your dreams. But you know reality and dreams can never be together. Competition out there is brutal.

Though honestly, the chances here is a lot higher. So much more musical and arts. But then again, I think for the musical section is probably in the United Kingom or something? I'm not too sure. Despite chances being higher, the competition is really high as well, I mean there are tons of people holding the same dream, so what makes me so special? Nothing.

Side tracking; I'm kinda pissed off with my classmate because they wouldn't practice Japanese with me, like having basic conversations. I know I've been going on with this for quite awhile now but it's starting to get on my nerves (again). Til the point when I don't even want to hang out with them anymore.

Though they say it's harder to express themselves in Japanese but really, then why are you here? Besides, it's not easy for me to express myself in Chinese either, so obviously you're not making sense. No matter how many times I tell them not to tell me a certain place of Japan and train station in Chinese because I don't know, they won't listen. I don't care if it's in kanji because I don't read Japanese kanji in Chinese like you guys do.

You guys are not being fair so why should i? I'm already deprived off my English conversations, don't deprive me from another when it's one of the sole reason why I'm here and that is Japanese.

Sadly, I'm English accent is getting weirder each day because my only access to English is watching English movies and dramas. So, the next time my friends see me, they may get pissed off just because I don't have the "usual" accent like everyone else.

But some of my friends have already heard it and they seem to be fine with it. However, not everyone thinks the same, a shame really. Honestly, I'm not even pretending to speak in that accent. It just came naturally and I came to realise it somehow. Usually, I tend to be conscious of my surroundings but there are tons of time when I'm totally oblivious about my surrounds though.

I love Starbucks. I wish I can stay here forever.

I was told by my homeroom teacher that in the next semester, we'll be having morning classes. Brilliant, isn't it? I have to start waking up early. But I think it's also a sign for me to take up a part time job. Not really looking forward to waking up early. Maybe I can try working at Starbucks for my part time job. I wonder if they have any job openings.... Hmm....

In autumn, skies turn dark at 5pm. How wonderful. It's almost 6.30pm right now and the sky looks like its 8 o'clock at night. Wonderful isn't it? I'll stay a bit longer and do some reading. I brought a book along knowing I might end up at a Starbucks around Shinjuku after class.

Cheers.
