What if

Somehow, I was presented with a second chance to take on the "first choice" I gave up previously. It was something that lingered in my mind once in a while when I was in deep thought. I thought it might be a hint of regret I was feeling.

I took the chance and realised that it wasn't exactly regret. I just wanted to know the "what if". Now that I know the "what if", I was simply filled with disappointment and relief. Relieved that I didn't let my stubbornness hold me back.

Sometimes, it's better to leave the "what ifs" and it is.
