OOTD #2

Isn't exactly what I wore for today but I was packing my luggage getting ready for the cold season to come. Every time when I do pack my luggage, I would see which outfit would fit and I'll just bring those clothes. So basically what I'm going to wear for the days is already planned out. I like to prepare before hand. lol.

This is one of the outfits I managed to match up.

Head: Red beanie and fake black frame glasses
Top: Fox face designed black knitted sweater
Bottom: Forever21 Jeans
Shoes: Black wedges boots.

The whole look can't be seen very well from this photo but you get the idea. lol.

Honestly, when I tried matching up with all my stuff, I didn't expect I'd be wearing jeans for all the looks. I honestly am thankful to the boots because it's a pretty high wedges. Platforms with a little heel, makes your legs look longer and thinner. That's one of the reasons why girls like heels, though I do hate it sometimes because it hurts. No doubt it makes a shorty like me to look taller! Yay for the inventions of heels and platforms and.. wedges! lol.

Just when I plan to look a little more girl-ish for feminine, I turn back to what I'd wear usually. I love the new red beanie I bought yesterday while shopping. Been wanting to find something like that for awhile now and I finally got it.

I'm going to the hair salon tomorrow to get my hair dyed, trimmed and treatment. It's as dry as hay, the black roots are growing out and it's making my hair so ugly. And, my hair is really messy right now. LOL. I usually go to the salon almost every 2 months to get a hair cut. Though it probably feels longer than that, but when I count back the days, it's really 2 months. Come to think of it, this time is 3 months! I broke my own record. The last time I got my hair cut was late October last year.

I'm going for something dark this time. Like..black. I've been saying that since mid last year but I chickened out in October and went for a dark brown. But I can't chicken out now because I really really don't want to waste time dying my hair to get  rid of the horrible black hair roots growing out.

Yeah, wish me luck.

Yoshinoya

Hey, what's up?

I thought I'd write today's blog post before I forget.
And... I suck at writing blog titles. I always wonder what should be the title.

Anyways, I met up with my lovely friends, Valeryn and Tracy. I got to know them when they joined the cafe mid last year. They are really awesome people. *hugs x10*

Been almost 1 month since I last met up with them. We planned an outing today, initially was just dinner nearby our area, but we ended up heading to Bugis to do some quick shopping because Valeryn wanted to buy new shorts.

We had yoshinoya for dinner. I wonder how long has it been since the last time I stepped foot into yoshinoya for a meal. 6 months perhaps, or probably a whole year. lol.

I managed to get a red knitted hat and a new leather skirt. I usually don't wear skirts but I thought, I need to get my dressing to be a little more feminine. Like, I gotta upgrade my dressing to be more adult and lady-like since I can't do much about my height nor looks anymore. lolol.

And, I wanna try something different this year. I think a new year is the best way to start off with new things you want to try. It's like a brand new year, brand new beginning to a lot of things. Let last year's bygones be bygones. Something like that.

Really happy to be able to meet them again! Let's meet up again soon!! :)

I've been craving for bread alot recently. I'm a big fan of bread. I can have them for the whole day without getting sick of the taste! If only I'm good at baking, I'll probably open a bread shop so I can eat while working.

Hansel & Gretel

Hey what's up?

Yesterday, I went out in the evening to catch a movie with my friend with his other friends. We kinda clicked I guess. Having the same interest makes it easier to start topics. lol. Japanese culture lovers banzai!! :D

Also, the fact that I didn't really bother how people judge me. I was able to be more of myself and be really comfortable and be really crappy as well. lol. I guess everything wasn't as bad as I thought. I mean, usually I'd be really self-conscious about the people who I meet for the first time. I'll always watch what I do and it's really tiring and stressful. I should really stop that or I'll never be able to accomplish anything because so bothered by other unwanted opinions.

I've been getting tons of advises from my friends to not be so bothered by how people look at you and their useless opinions and instead be myself. It's my everyday struggle. lol. I use to not be like this but I really wonder when it started though.

Anyways, I went to watch "Hansel & Gretel. The witch hunters" movie. It's kind of a mixture of action with a bit of horror I suppose. The witches are hella scary! (at least for me)

The movie is alright, not too bad. Just a normal action movie that kinda mindfks your Hansel & Gretel childhood. I mean for one thing, the witches don't look that scary. All the other fighting actions, those aren't in my childhood either! But overall, it's a pretty alright movie in my opinion.

Moving on....

For the past few days, I'm kinda sick in my tummy. Having indigestion is one of the most horrible thing to happen if you're a person who likes food or eating, aka me. So I've been cutting down on meals and stuff. Not really because I'm dieting, it's more of the indigestion problem.

I'm trying to fix my sleeping pattern back to normal so my mom would stop nagging at me to sleep. lol. But you can't exactly help it if you're an otaku right? I mean, the night time is the time you shine!! Alright, was kidding on the last part.

I guess that's pretty much what's been going on recently. Nothing much.

I need more motivation in my life right now....... =/

OOTD #1

Hey whatup!

I went out late last night to meet my good buddy, Mai, for a little chat. Perhaps to let her not go out for partying on a Friday night as well. Sometimes having a relaxing Friday night can be pretty awesome as well. I mean, Friday doesn't mean "party night". Well, at least for me. Even if I do go out for drinks, it's just me chilling at a bar or a live house just me, good music and a drink. Do I sound old? Like some old grandpa? LOL.

We just chilled out at 24 hours Macdonalds near our area drinking Milo. The first thing my mother asked when I told her I was heading out was, "You going out drinking tonight?"

Hey mom, I don't drink that much as you think I do. I only do it for social or for de-stressing. Even if I do drink, the most I ever drank was perhaps just 2 mugs of beer? lol. I'm not even craving for a drink right now either.

What I really need now, is some Macha Frappuccino. My favourite and only drink I drink in starbucks. I'm not a fan of coffee. Never was. lol.

Anyways, this was my casual outfit of the day(or night).

Nothing special but seeing that it's the night time, it can get pretty chilly.

Top Inner: Hot Pink Tank Top
Top Outer: Cat design cardigan, bought from Japan.
Bottom: Forever21 shorts.
Shoes: Platform leopard print ankle-cut sneakers, from Japan as well. :D

For the cardigan maybe not exactly cat design cardigan because there is musical notes, moon crescents, heart shapes..  Pretty random but the first thing that caught my eyes was the cat anyways.

My friends would all agree that this style is so me. I'm not those girly type of girl who wears dress and stuff. Well, perhaps once in a blue moon. I prefer street style. But then again, whatever I'm wearing now isn't even street style I supppose. I just wear anything that's comfortable! lol.

Anyways, I gotta prepare to head out. Gonna catch a movie with my friends. Guess what I'll be watching? haha. Yeah yeah, the answer will be on twitter anyways. Don't bother guessing.

I'm an otaku now. lol.

Hey. It has been awhile. I've updated my blogskin.. it's something similar to my previous one in fc2 blog. I'm still trying out this new blogger layout thingy with widget. Kinda confusing but I'll get it down somehow. lol.

It has been a long time since I've become an otaku and stayed at home watching animes and playing online games. I'm playing Ragnarok Online 2 at the Freyja server. :D

I sometimes do get real bored and then I go back to watching animes.

Recent ones I've watched is "Uta no Prince-sama" 【うたのプリンスさま】. Apparently, it's an otome game made into an anime. Well, no wonder there is a obvious difference in personalities in the guys which is common in otome games. lol. It's really not bad seeing that it has something to do with music, though not alot. But it's still pretty cool.

Another one which I'm currently watching right now is also an otome game made into an anime called, "Hiiro no Kakera"【緋色の欠片】. The personalities here are even more obvious though, the long hair type, the brash type, the quite type, etc. The storyline is pretty straight forward though but I'm still watching it because.. I only have that to watch. Taking my time with the series... lol.

Recently, I'm still craving for chocolates! I'm not sure whether this is because I'm now in otaku mode so I crave for chocolates at home. But when I'm out, I don't. This is strange. lolol.

Perhaps I don't crave for sweet stuff when I'm not in my otaku mode. This must be the reason why. This must be it.lol

Let me end off with a photo of mine. I just trimmed my fringe myself and well, it's kinda too straight but.. it will grow out. lol. Hoping to go to a hair salon soon though. Just for a trim before CNY.

Oh! And I just got to know that I won't be able to do any CNY visiting this year because my grandmumzy passed away late last year and it hasn't been a whole new year yet. Oh and I was so looking forward to getting red packets. lol. Oh well, but at least I have a few tour guide jobs just before new year. A little bit of allowance.

Ah... I should get back to my game. haha. :X

Cloud Atlas

Today, I went watch a movie called "Cloud Atlas".

And boy, was it awesome!!!

What a way to start the year off with an awesome movie!

6 different story lines in one. The main casts also acted in all different story lines.  I didn't realize it until a while later into the movie. Awesome actress and actors! Apparently it's a German drama and science fiction film that was adapted from the 2004 novel by David Mitchell. Yeah, I got some information off Wikipedia. Wikipedia is everyone's best friend, besides Google of course. lol.

It's about 3 hours long but honestly, it didn't felt that long. I was so engrossed with the show. lol. I can't believe I cried at a scene where there is a puppy that got shot. lol. I have a really weak spot for dogs dying or something. Can you believe when I watch the "Hachiko" film, I cried from the middle of the show until the end?! I cried really badly. lol.

You'll somehow get  mindfked in the show but it's really awesome once you like.. understood everything. It's really wow. I really wonder how the person wrote this book in the first place. He must be some kind of genius! lol.

Anyways, for those who haven't watch it, go watch it!

I'm going to head to bed because it's 3am now. Nights.

Midnight rants.

I can't believe it's Thursday already. Time really files when you're not noticing. Like how it suddenly became 10pm when I look at the clock.

I can't say today hasn't been productive. It's alright, but perhaps the progress for today isn't as fast or as efficient as I thought and wanted it to be. But everything will be alright.

I really really hope I'll get into university. Somehow or rather, this feeling of wanting to go into university inside me has became stronger.

Leche Chocolate Tarts.

Yesterday there was a mini gathering for a farewell party one of my secondary school friend. She's going to be going to Paris for an exchange for about half a year. Take care when you're there! :)

This is one of the super yummilicious Leche Chocolate Tarts that she made. I can't explain how yummy it is but it's really really yummy. lol. They call it "leche" because it's really kind of troublesome to make it. haha.

Hope she really gets to open her own cafe one day and with tons of outlets or something. So I can have access to her yummy desserts that she makes anywhere. haha.

Can't believe we're all like pretty much grown up and doing the things we like. Wow, look at how time files.

I'm really bad with mornings so I do get get up feeling cranky. Today was one of those days where I feel like the whole world is against me. But I'm alright now. I'm all good. lol.
I had to wake up and going to kitchen, just for a drink, but ended up having to taste powder in my mouth because someone applied too much baby powder and I can smell it when I'm walking into the kitchen. After that horrible experience, I got out to the living room and had to hear horrible ge tai music blasting. I mean, early in the morning?! If it's simply just jazzy kind of music or something, I'm alright. But ge tai? Are kidding me dad? (._.)

A day in a life in the weekend morning of my life. Welcome.

Wednesday 2 January 2013

Welcome to year 2013!

Hey!

Happy New Year everyone!

今年もよろしくお願いします!
Please treat me well this year as well!

A new year with new possibilities and new beginnings!

On my last day of 2012, I went to with my NPCC mates for our own countdown, somewhere near all the events were but not exactly joining in with the events. We're just there to get the feeling of countdown. Mainly also because one of our friends is working so we went there to countdown together!

From secondary school all the way until now, 9 years of friendship and going on strong. That's one of the things I'm really really proud of!  We don't usually meet up but when we do, the day becomes really awesome because we tend to do crazy but not really crazy kind of stuff? I mean, coming to think of it, we did went on a trip overseas together to hike up and down a hill, ride on elephants, going on crazy expeditions on a kayak together and other adventurous stuff. Though, it's still a school trip, but I mean, you don't usually do those things when you're young unless you're in a CCA that allows you to do so right? I must say I'm really lucky to meet them as well. I may probably get really sucky squad-mates at that time too. But they are really awesome and easy-going people.

So, we sat down together at some corner with drinks and some snacks after YJ got off from work. We started to write down our own resolutions for 2013 and a sum up of what we did in 2012. Then we went on with the resolutions we wanted for each other. The funny thing is, we wrote "To get a girlfriend/boyfriend and do well in our studies and life/work for next year." Since we're all single and pretty available and most of us are still studying or going to study or probably going to get work after NS. I think the most amazing thing is looking back from where we started, we're all actually doing pretty well and moving on well with our lives though there maybe shitty things happening. We all pretty much know what we wanted to do and found what we want to do. All we can do is wish each other the best and hope for the best in future. Without regretting what we do and choose of course.

After which, we tired getting a cab like everyone else in the crowd is trying to do. The first time I stood on the road without being worried I'd be knocked down by taxis! Fun experience that I'll probably next get until the next end of year countdown which I'm not sure whether I'll be back in my hometown or be mugging for exams. lol.

But we didn't manage to get a cab in the end so we walked down from clark quay, down to chinatown then to raffles where we settled down in macdonlads for breakfast. A very early breakfast at about 6am? Then we randomly hopped on a bus that will bring us back to somewhere nearer to our home area. In the bus where we did continue to chat a little more before falling asleep without ourselves noticing, napping for about an hour before reaching the last stop. lol. We cabbed home after that.

When I reached home, I wasn't at all tired. I still could update my japanese blog a little, organise my facebook albums and uploading a new photo for the year of 2013. I even did colagen mask because my skin was really bad due to the nights where I hardly got any sleep. I could still have lunch made by my sister which surprisingly didn't taste that bad. But well, most of it is pretty instantly made so instant food usually won't go wrong. She made Japanese curry so curry won't go wrong!! And yes, big curry fan here! :D

After having a nice first home-cooked meal, I got really sleepy and I napped about an hour after eating. I was suppose to be going for another gathering at my secondary school classmates but I totally missed it because I was busy sleeping. I woke up at night for my "dinner" which was bread. Then I was eating while I was on my bed lying down. But I think I fell asleep subconsciously while eating, without myself knowing.

Then I woke up today morning at 6am today. Talk about having a screwed body-clock. But I had an awesome last month of 2012. November was a balance of good and bad things happening in a month. Alright, December wasn't all smooth counting that the place I worked that closed down, but the last week was pretty awesome counting how many "LOL" I did.

That's what I basically did for my last day of 2012 and first day of 2013!

Yeah, I practically slept my first day of 2013 away! lol. Bye!

Chisaki

PS: LOL = laughing out loud, not league of legends. lol.
