Meetups and Celebrations

Hey. It has been a while.

My skin is really bad recently thanks to the horrible outbreak that I had after cleaning up the cafe. So much dust!!! Thankfully the iphone front camera's resolution isn't that good so most of the flaws are being covered up. But my skin is slowly trying to recover, so it's good news.

Anyways, I've been out for the past few days meeting up with people for celebrations. Tons of celebration and meetups with friends before the year end. It's the time when the money in your pocket goes bye-bye as well. lol.

Yesterday, my big boss had a barbecue party at his place. The food there was really awesome. Tons of jokes, HALO 4 action, playing with their pet dogs, food and other random stuff.

Today, was a pretty busy day for me even though I hardly slept the day before. I woke up early today to prepare to head out to meet up with my NPCC mates back in secondary school. One of them had driver's license and a car, so she ,Denise, being so awesome, she drove us around and picked us up from our houses since we do stay nearby each other. Been a long while since I sat in a car.

We went to this place called, "Nook House of Pancakes". links → homepage/facebook
This is a place where you can cook your own pancakes and eat them. Which I think is a cool concept. There are different toppings you can choose from and the pancake mix have 4 different flavors as well. My favourite out of the 4 would be the Pandan Flavor. haha.

So, the four of us had fun making all sorts of weird shapes and designs. We even tried writing our own names, which worked but flipping them over and cooking them while maintaining their shapes. Really fun, it's more than just dining in to have pancake. Really awesome experience.

Then, we had a little break trying to find things to do after having our pancakes. We tried going bowling but it was full house so we ended up heading to this place nearby the area to have mudpies! Oh the mudpies is really awesome. Because I'm heading off for another dinner afterwards that's why I had to share it with Denise. Really awesome mudpie!

See, I've been having so many sweet tooth cravings which I think it's really a shocking thing for me since I don't eat sweet stuff. I'm not sure why, but my sweet tooth cravings usually doesn't last that long! What is happening?! I have got to stop. Diet continues tomorrow.

So, after our meetup and eating at all this really cool places with awesome desserts. It's time for some normal meal. I met up with Jim and Jasmine for dinner at this place called Hatch. Homepage / Facebook.

The menu is really cute and most of their stuff comes along with eggs. I had cravings for fish so I picked out this dish that has smoked salmon in it. Nice and cozy place to dine at.

Today and yesterday, I practically pigged out. This is the results of festive seasons. You do tons of meetups, tons of celebrations and this will result in having meals together and eating a lot. It has been awhile since I had all 3 meals in a day. Usually I would only have 2 meals a day.

But you know, I think this year Christmas is the time I really enjoyed a lot. A few more meetups and I'm done with everything and I'll go back to my workaholic self and start on things i want to do. Of course, I'm already in the process of doing some other, but I think I need to focus a little more though.

Tomorrow is new year eve and everyone would be counting down to new year. I'm kind of looking forward to new year actually. Though the month of January is going to be slightly busy but I'm looking forward to it.

Happy New Year Eve everyone.

Have an awesome year 2013!!

USS Christmas Date! USSでクリスマスデート

Hey. How's everyone's Christmas?
みんなのクリスマスはどうだった?

I had an awesome Christmas this year. I am a simply amazing Christmas yesterday
I had so much fun at USS this year with my best buddy, Shizuka.

We've been through so much last year and this year. Though we do have cold wars once in awhile, but I believe those tears and laughter we shared is real. We do know we do rant about each other, but that's all just a moment of anger. We grew up so much, we learn to appreciate and be more accepting to different opinions. Looking back, I think we're so much of a brat. Thank goodness we grew out of that. Of course, I believe we still have loads to learn. Let's work hard for our dreams! I can honestly say she is one of my friends that has been through the most shit with me than anyone else because last year and this year was the 2 years that I learnt and grew so much and faced so many mental hardships. Let's work hard for our dreams!

I don't regret meeting anyone at all. It's fate that brought us together and sometimes in life, those people you meet are stays in your life for just that short moment. Not everyone are meant to be in your life forever, but just parts of it. Even so, I'm really thankful for our encounter.

We sat almost all the rides except for the water rides. I managed to conquer the "Human" and "Cylone" ride all over again. Yes, I'm really proud of that. I realise today that Shizuka loves those really hardcore and high-speed rollercoaster rides!! ヽ(;´Д`)ノ

But you know, after riding those really dangerous and high-speed rollercoaster rides in japan with my friend, "Human" and "Cylone" is really nothing. I can' finally open my eyes a more during the rides and look at the surroundings. lol. Practice makes perfect eh? HAHA. Even for rollercoaster rides!

I think the funny thing about our trip is when we finally reached USS, the first thing we did is we went to have Churros. Usually, people would be rushing off for rides. I ate quite a lot yesterday, I finally have full 3 meals in a day and I don't feel like I'm bloated or anything! I'm still feeling good today. Yay!

Maybe I'll go running later in the evening. :D

An ending and a start to a new chapter.

Hey. A bit late on the updates here but...

I guess most of the fans know that the cafe closed last Sunday and we've been doing some cleaning up. One of my last few shots I got of the cafe when we're packing up.

Honestly, it was really fun and enjoyable while it lasted. I've learnt so many things from this cafe and met so many people that changed my life and made me a stronger and more independent person than I am today. For that, I'm really thankful for it. Every single person I met in the cafe and worked with, I'm thankful that we've met.

Big thank you to those who have supported our performances during cafe events, those who came and attended the concerts, dined at the cafe and bought merchandises from the shop. Without such support, I doubt we would have that much chances to perform. All the cafe from the mini stage in the cafe, to the SCAPE warehouse and finally to the AFA mini stage to perform which we had such great support from the fans. All the cheering.. I won't ever forget all of those.

All the late night dance practices after work. Busy schedules and such. It's really tiring but honestly, I really enjoyed it. It's really close to something I've been wanting to do all my life.

Many thanks to all the management people and fans and everyone else that is part of this project, that made everything possible.

I know, many of the fans say that I don't smile much, but you know, I'm trying. I'm still trying my best to smile even though there is no reason to. lol. I'm sorry to always give people such impression.

Now, everything has finally come to an end. I won't ever forget this place and all the tears, laughter and sweat we all shared. Honestly, the first 2 months ever since getting into this place was the hardest for me to adapt to. But I still did, and I'm glad I did because I learnt so much. I learnt so much in this 1 and a half year.

It's time to move on. Hope the final few days in 2012 will be a good one. Looking forward to 2013, praying it will be an awesome year too.

Next year, I'll probably be taking the biggest leap in my life. I'm really not sure what the future may take or bring me. But I believe, if we try, we'll make it. I want to try to take that leap and reach my goals and dreams because this is what I've been living for until now.

No matter how many setbacks, I want to stand up on my own feet and continue walking forward. No matter how many challenges god gives me, I'll try to overcome them.

Merry Christmas. xoxo

Sincerely,

Chisaki
